The QL-1050 can use all of Brothers easy-to-load DK label rolls plus three new label rolls specifically designed for the printer: 4 x 6 and 4 x 2 die-cut labels and a 4 continuous roll for labels up to three feet long. Its great for the larger label requirements in shipping Post Offices hospitals pharmacies retail manufacturing bar coding and more. The QL-1050 comes with Brothers P-touch Editor label design software P-tou ch Address Book software and QL add-ins for printing directly from Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. The Brother QL-1050 offers Windows and Mac connectivity through a USB interface. It also offers ESC/P emulation and direct ASCII input through a serial interface for connecting directly to medical instruments test equipment postage scales handheld terminals and other stand-alone devices. Label templates and graphics can be downloaded and stored in memory to allow faster printing.
